Day 1 - Arrival
Day 2 - Jarvisland to Antequera (111 km)
This journey takes you through mountains and lakes to the Torcal Natural Park, renowned for its sculpted rock formations. The route features some challenging mountain passages that require skill, but there is an easier alternative for those who prefer to skip this visually striking section. The chosen hotel, nestled in the old city wall, exudes immense charm.
Day 3 - Antequera to Granada (196 km)
Head towards the Montes de Málaga Natural Park, enjoying stunning views of the Malaga coast before ascending into high mountain landscapes. After a midday meal, the journey continues to the majestic city of Granada.
Day 4 - Granada to Sierra Nevada (222 km)
Begin the route to the Gorafe Desert, where you can marvel at the incredible lunar landscape. The return journey follows a scenic track through Monachil, ascending above 2,000 meters to reach Sierra Nevada, a premier Spanish ski destination.
Day 5 - Sierra Nevada to Almuñécar (195 km)
Descend towards the coast on a beautiful mix of twisty asphalt and gravel roads, often riding above the clouds. As you begin the descent, the stunning mountains and beaches of Granada's tropical coast, famous for avocado and mango production, come into view. End the day by the beach, watching the sunset.
Day 6 - Almuñécar to Jarvisland (224 km)
Ascend a picturesque dry riverbed towards the cliffside city of Comares, offering incredible views of the Malaga valley. After enjoying the local cuisine, continue towards the end of this beautiful journey, having explored a significant part of the Andalusian region.
