Description
We will ride from the hotel out of Washoe Valley into the Sierra Nevada foothills on an amazing winding pavement road, ascending into Virginia City and the famous Comstock lode.
After touring a local mine and taking in all the mining history, we’ll roll down Six Mile canyon, cross the loneliest road in America and onto our first offroad section of this scenic journey riding along the Carson River.
Enjoy miles of challenging and fun roads with creek crossing, ghost towns, aspen groves along scenic creeks and mountain trails with outstanding views. We’ll eat lunch in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada’s highest, majestic peaks and explore famous sites along the way.
We arrive at a secluded hot springs resort with your own or shared cabin with a comfortable bed for the next few days as this will be our home base. Enjoy a relaxing dip in the 95 degree warm swimming pool or the 104 degree hot pool after a freshly prepared meal every evening.

Itinerary
Arrival -
You’ll arrive at the Reno-Tahoe airport with a five minute travel time to the Grand Sierra resort, your first and last night will be at this resort Hotel in Reno, NV.
That afternoon we will meet for gear fitting and bike orientation. We will also go over the bikes features and make any necessary adjustments on the bike you’re riding to accommodate your comfort and riding style.
You will meet your guide crew, fellow adventure riders, answer any questions and take your security deposit payment of $2,500.00 USD refundable, for potential damages. Scratches and scrapes are forgiven.
Day 1 - Riding
7-8:30 Breakfast
8:45 Rider’s meeting
9:am Riding
The first day is 250-300 miles taking in famous sites and landmarks, local lunch at the halfway point.
More scenic riding then we’ll arrive at our destination to your private cabin, dinner prepared locally by private chef. Enjoy the hot springs pool and sleep in a comfortable bed.
Day 2 - Riding
7:30-8:45 Breakfast at local café.
9:00 Riding.
Today we ride up to 200 miles of challenging routes and two national parks to choose from, either Death Valley or Yosemite loops along with hundreds of other spectacular routes to ride. Lunch will be served on the trail, delivered fresh from a local gourmet restaurant.
We will continue our loop back to the resort. Eat another gourmet dinner and relax in the hot tubs getting 20 for the next day.
Day 3 - Riding
7:30-8:30 Breakfast
9:00 Riding
Today we pick a route based on the group’s collective decision, whether we ride a desert or forest loop it will be full of great riding, terrain and interesting sites. Fresh lunch on the trail or restaurant
depending on our route. Experience the Eureka sand dunes or the volcanic area of mammoth mountain’s Devil’s post pile and a loop of crystal, clear Alpine lakes.
Your day will fill with everlasting memories as we end the day for dinner.
Day 4 - Riding
7:00-8:30 Breakfast
9:00 Riding
Today we venture on new scenic loop of the eastern Sierra Nevada’s and some of the USA’s most spectacular riding and scenery. Lunch at local café.
Typically, a shorter riding day, perhaps a rest day for some clients to enjoy some golf or other attractions and sites such as the railroad museum, along with hiking and other local events.
Our last evening meal together at a local steakhouse before our last riding day back into Reno. Back to your cabin for the final slumber on the rugged trail.
Day 5 - Riding & Departure
7-8:30 Breakfast
9:00 Riding
We will ride back via Lake Tahoe and multiple high elevation mountain passes along the way.
We’ll stop at the halfway point to enjoy our final meal together as a group and then descend into Washoe Valley and back to Grand Sierra Resort, evaluate the bikes and refund any damage deposits
and say our farewells, prepare for departure that evening or the following day and enjoy your evening at GSR.
Depature -
Today we say goodbye to the last of the group that chose to stay overnight.
